Luke has worked his way up from joining the industry at age 14 to overseeing numerous construction projects as his joint role as Managing Director and Operations Manager. He works closely with clients, subcontractors and the in-house teams during the construction process to ensure the company delivers on its commitment to completing work on time and to a high standard. Luke is also a keen sportsman enjoying rugby, cricket and golf.

Luke's strength as a Project Manager comes from practical experience on the tools, where he excelled at problem solving and collaborating with others to get results. Since his promotion to Project Manager, Luke has been instrumental at managing a number of mid-sized projects for residential and commercial clients.

Emmitt is passionate about ensuring the safety of homeowners and the general public when working with asbestos and other hazardous substances, with 7 years experience and being fully qualified, including being able to train others. Emmitt is an avid American Football fan of the New Orleans Saints and loves to golf, ice skate and spend time with his family.
Benji Oppan
Project Manager
Benji is a safe pair of hands for your project, having successfully managed numerous projects across Canterbury since joining Waghorn Builders in 2012. In particular, he is known for carefully scheduling each project online to minimise delays and maximise outcomes. Prior to joining the Waghorn team, Benji did plaster/paint work.

Justin is a qualified carpenter as well as having National Diplomas in Quantity Surveying and Construction Management. He brings 6 years experience from working at large project management companies and is confident with house repairs up to multi-million commercial builds.

Dawn is committed to upholding and enhancing the strong company culture around safe practices and standards. She brings 15 years in the Meat Industry and 10 years of that in the Rescue Squad. She holds qualification in Occupational Health and she loves the fast and furious pace of the building industry.

Emily looks after all the day to day financial and administration matters and record keeping. She enjoys working in a busy office environment and ensuring the company runs smoothly.
